Individual Therapy

Individual therapy consists of working one-on-one with one of our trained mental health professionals. Sessions are geared to work on individual goals and are a collaborative effort between you and the mental health professional. Some common concerns in therapy are anxiety, anger, depression, relationship discord, stress, self-esteem issues, trauma, family issues, sexuality, and negative thinking patterns (and many more). We offer the following therapy approaches listed below to provide relief to you:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

A psycho-social intervention that aims to improve mental health. CBT focuses on challenging and changing unhelpful cognitive distortions (e.g. thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes) and behaviors, improving emotional regulation and the development of personal coping strategies that target solving current problems.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy is an interactive psychotherapy technique used to relieve psychological stress.

This allows you to be exposed to the memories or thoughts without having a strong psychological response. EMDR employs a body-based technique called bilateral simulation during which a therapist will guide a client through through eye movements, tones, or taps in order to move a memory that has been incorrectly stored to a more functional part of the brain.

Neuropsychotherapy (NPT)

Neuropsychotherapy is a therapeutic approach that combines psychotherapy and neurobiology. The approach treats concerns by looking at connections between the brain, the body, experiences, and the environment.
